Episode 09: The Thread of Remembering

“Even in the long dark, a thread of hope remained.”

🪉

Spun in silence.
 Hidden in lullabies.
Woven through the old Gaelic stories, where the divine wore many faces.

Truths wrapped in riddles.
Wisdom disguised as poetry and song.
The sacred hidden in plain sight, waiting.

The old tales weren’t just bedtime stories, they were maps.  Keys buried beneath centuries of soot and shame, guiding us home.

A Trinity of Mind, Body, and Soul.

Although we were scattered, we did not vanish. We flowed like rivers across the world, carving songs into continents. In Boston pubs and Sydney parades, in Cape Town dances and Tokyo escapades, the Gaelic spirit kept whispering:

"You are more than survivors.
 You are rememberers."

We became part of every nation, and yet somehow still ourselves.

A people of paradox: Playful yet profound, sorrowful yet singing, broken yet beloved.

Now, in a world often divided, for one day each year the globe pauses to celebrate a small island’s spirit.

A day of belonging.

A day of laughter and song, of dance and belonging, of green worn with pride, because it carries the story of a people who remembered who they were by remembering who we are.

We are the light-bearers.
 The soul-smiths.
The weavers of myth and memory.
 The bridge between worlds.

The harp sings now with new meaning,

Of becoming.

We are a people loved all over the world because we opened our hearts to it, and in doing so, we found our way back to the stars.
